I was so shocked the little story about how I ended up in this business made it to the front page. This talks about how my back injury changed my life and how restoring Mid-Century furniture became my physical (and emotional) therapy! You're never too old to flip the script and do something different. And sometimes, bad things that happen can turn into blessings!

PAD Penn Ave Design
What is pad? When Jon Langman with Coastal Mod and I decided to split a warehouse, we knew it would be magic. We found a 6500 Sq Ft located near City Center work our asses off to transform the space. Jon polished the concrete floors, my hubby and I painted 3800 Square Feet floor to ceiling, family members helped with other improvements. It was an all hands on deck situation for 2 grueling months.
Since the warehouse is 2 separate businesses under one roof, we wanted to define the space a bit. We brainstormed names for the business and came up with Penn Ave Design, or PAD for short.
